This morning……

A beautiful sun, up so early 

just a thin strip of mist low on the horizon 

Justbwitnessing the beauty of this earth

Buds bursting into fanfares of daffodil trumpets

Carpets of quiet creamy yellow primroses hugging the earth

Later than usual year, stalks of hellebore rise above the large winter leaves opening delicate Christmas roses to the weak winter sun,

Green tips at the ends of yellow hyacinth branches 

Furry buds swelling in the 

Tight white buds studding the deep green shiny foliage of the camellia bush

The birds alive with spring sunshine

And the jackdaws returning to nest in the chimneys
